The web animated film Devouring Stars is a science fiction adaptation of the novel of the same name originally written by Eat Your Tomatoes, produced by Shanghai Tencent Penguin Film and Television Culture Communication Co Ltd, and produced by Hangzhou Xuanji Technology Information Technology Co Ltd.
The main story is about the Earth after a great disaster triggered the mutation of all species, the survival of the fittest, the protagonist Luo Feng got the inheritance of the master of the meteorite ink star, became one of the three strongest on Earth, lost his physical body after the battle with the star devouring behemoths, took over his body to become a star devouring beast, and bred a human doppelgänger in the world inside his body, and after that, he took a step out of the Earth and towards the universe.
The Earth chapter consists of 85 episodes and premiered on 29 November 2020. The second and third seasons, from episode 27 to episode 85, will be broadcast exclusively on Tencent Video on Wednesdays from 29 December 2021 at 10am.
The Universe is scheduled to air exclusively on Tuesdays at 10am on Tencent Video from 3 October 2023 onwards.
Synopsis
One day, an unexplained RR virus appears on Earth, plunging the world into disaster.
